Young Radio is a music application created by life2. The multimedia application is solely made for playing music from the airwaves as well as find any local radio stations. It has a very direct interface with no fancy features, meaning nothing obstructs the users from listening to their favorite tunes.

It’s Just A Radio 

One of the most noticeable features in Young Radio is that it has nothing at all. The buttons are ultra minimal and contrasted by the black background. This oversimplified feature is not recommended for users who have an exquisite taste for colorful, sparkly and bright aesthetics. On the other hand, minimalists might like dead appearance. It blends to any type of mobile device since the color black is somehow neutral. On the brighter side, its saving grace is black colored applications consumes less battery and system resources compared to the overly gaudy application. Excessive colors and bright lights from applications can consume too much power from the mobile device. Over decorated applications is not perfect for hours of listening because users will rarely interact with them. This application meanwhile does what radio must do: find radio stations and play music. Users must remember that they cannot download any music that is being played live. There is an option to scan any local radio stations in the current location. It is not guaranteed that the application can find every station either in FM or AM.

Last Resort for Choosing A Radio App 

Young Radio is just an alternative radio application if the default radio application is either broken or unavailable. Nothing is special or outstanding in this application. The limited amount of radio station along with the boring black interface makes it a very mediocre app. Perhaps users might opt for the default radio apps on their mobile devices.
